Duo formed by singer atsuko and composer-arranger KATSU, both from Okayama, which made its major-label debut in 2003 with “Asu e no Brilliant Road”, the opening of Stellvia. Its trademark is switching between energetic, humorous pop —like “Zenryoku☆Summer!” for Aho-Girl— and epic sci-fi pieces such as “Sidonia” (Knights of Sidonia) or “KINGS” (K). In 2023 it received a Guinness World Record for the number of songs performed for a single animated franchise, thanks to its long run with Fafner in the Azure. The catalog also features “Boku wa Boku de Atte” and “The end of escape” (Ajin 2) and two openings of My Next Life as a Villainess.
